Nanomegas
Description
What? Nanomegas develops and commercializes transmission electron diffraction instrumentation.
What, exactly? In transmission electron diffraction (TEM), a beam of electrons passes through, and diffracts in, a thin material to be studied. The diffraction pattern is recorded, for example with a CCD camera, and allows for a finer resolution than optical microscopy. TEM instruments present a vast range of operating modes, and Nanomegas makes tools to fit onto them in order to further improve the resolution, map strain in a material or image amorphous materials.
