Hilger Crystals
Description
What? Hilger Crystals grow scintillation crystals for a wide range of applications.
What, exactly? Scintillation is the transient production of light at the passage of a particle in a material. These sensing materials can be tailored to a certain wavelength, intensity, light yield or decay constant. Scintillating materials are hugely important in many applications because detecting light at a predicted wavelength or pulse shape is often much easier than trying to cater for all possible particle interactions that can occur in a given system.
