This year is a good year to language-related resolutions: UNESCO declared 2019 the International Year of Indigenous Languages.
In my free time I volunteer for an online media called Global Voices. It’s a network of journalists, writers, bloggers, translators, human rights and free speech advocates who write and translate about what happens in the world, especially what we rarely hear about in the mainstream media.
